Tentative Truce 

Tentative Truce is the fragile suspension of the hunt, through exhaustion perhaps or an absence of appetite, with a knowing that hostilities will resume.  

The suspended predator- prey dance is a brief pause in the circling of life and death.  The hunter needs the hunted to exist and yet seeks it out to extinguish it.  A dependency on the abased that plays out in many Nature War scenes. 

Created by our founding MOTH+MInk Artist, Tentative Truce is the first in our Nature Wars Series.
